Tropical rainy road

Over the last 5 months, moving through Southeast Asia, I've had incredibly little rain on the agenda.

Weekly roundup – Feb 22 to Mar 2

If we rewind to Feb 22, I arrive in Hanoi Old Quarter at the hostel Buffalo. The first two days are hard. New big adventure. New country, new culture, new way of living.

Life in Hanoi

It hasn't quite become everyday life for me yet. There's too much that's new, and everyday life for me means routines. So far I've gotten up at wildly different times, eaten meals at wildly different times, and done wildly different things. I've been looking for a good workspace, aka. a café.

Can You See Hanoi in 3 Days?

I've eaten Bánh mì, Phở bò, cơm chiên hải sản, and chicken from a Vietnamese KFC. I've been to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (though not inside), seen the small Ngoc Son Temple out on a small lake, walked around West Lake, had a foot massage and slept badly.
