This week, I haven’t travelled around. I haven’t explored. I haven’t really been out doing things either.
After four days of more or less complete island meltdown, I headed into the town of Thong Sala.
Looking back now, sitting in a pink beanbag on the beach in Koh Phangan, it doesn't really feel like a week where much happened.
I arrived in George Town with the fairly modest ambition of walking a little less than I had in Kuala Lumpur. On the very first day, I walked 25,000.
It has been a week focused on Kuala Lumpur. I have walked the inner city into the ground.
First impressions of Malaysia are positive. I sat on the airport train and watched the landscape glide by.
I'm staying at Bagus Bay hostel in Tuktuk. When I arrived at the hostel, it was practically empty.
Bali has given me a strong social circle of both international and Indonesian friends. It feels strange to leave them.
