My time here in Da Lat is drawing to a close. The chrome-plated "see Da Lat" experience has been replaced with city exploring, quiet afternoons at the hostel, plenty of good dinners, and immersion.
What’s waiting around the corner in Da Lat?
If I walk the opposite way, away from the lake, I go straight into a densely built residential area. There's 40-50 m between the shops, and it's deserted except for a few children playing.
A Flight to the Zen Temple
One of the hostel's volunteers suggested I go to a Zen Buddhist temple a little outside of town. It's within walking distance (5 km), but if I felt like it, I could take the cable cars over the mountain.
